Free Form Fibers is pleased to announce the awarding of two Option phase programs for SBIR projects through the Department of the Navy. Having achieved the milestones and stretch goals of each of the base phase II programs, managers at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) and the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) exercised the funding opportunities to continue the investigation into the development of silicon nitride fibers and shaped silicon carbide fibers, respectively, using the LCVD technology.
