Industrial

Industrial uses for Free Form Fibers products range from turbomachinery, to radomes, antenna, and optical windows.

Producing the highest purity, elevated temperature, high oxidation resistant fibers, derived from Free Form Fibers patented Laser Chemical Vapor Deposition (LCVD) technology.  Suitable for reinforcement of composites with increased thermal stability, while maintaining low dielectric constant and low loss tangent.

Designed for radomes, control surfaces, and other seeker/window or optical uses, for enhanced thermal shock resistance ceramic matrix composites (CMC’s) over existing oxide fiber solutions. We have created boron nitride (BN) and silicon nitride (Si3N4) products, as well as novel refractory oxides and coatings, with modulus and strength to perform in applications such as hypersonics, missiles, spacecraft, satellites, and other projectiles.
