Free Form Fibers was recently granted a patent from the Japanese Patent Office titled “An Additive Manufacturing Technology For The Fabrication And Characterization Of Nuclear Reactor Fuel“, #JP7065145. The technology protected in this case covers the capability to produce uranium-based nuclear fuel designs based on layers deposited on a fiber core.
