Free Form Fibers has been granted a patent from the United States Patent Office titled “Functional High-Performance Fiber Structure“, #11,362,839 B2. The patent extends the types of fiber designs that can be made using LCVD to include functional fibers that perform a range of evaluative tasks such as temperature or pressure measurements.
